Privacy Policy

Prefix Infotech Private Limited ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information YellowSheet.in collects, why, and the choices you have. It is designed to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the IT Rules.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: name, mobile, email, password (stored encrypted).
• Business information: business name, category, address, logo, products, reels, KYC documents you choose to upload.
• Usage & device data: pages viewed, device type, browser, approximate location/IP — used to keep the service secure and improve it.
• Payment data: processed by our gateway (Razorpay). We receive only the status and a reference, never your full card number.

2. How we use your information

• To create and run your account, listings and catalog.
• To deliver enquiries/leads and process payments and invoices.
• To send service messages and, where you opt in, updates via WhatsApp, SMS or email.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and to comply with law.

3. Lead & enquiry sharing

When a buyer submits an enquiry to a business, the buyer's contact details are shared with that business only after the lead is unlocked (by payment or an eligible plan). Businesses must use these details only to respond to the enquiry.

4. Pre-created / imported listings

Some listings are created from publicly available business information and shown as "Unclaimed" with masked contact details. If you are the owner and wish to claim, correct or remove such a listing, contact privacy@yellowsheet.in and we will action your request promptly.

5. Third parties we work with

We share limited data with trusted providers strictly to run the service: payment gateway (Razorpay), messaging providers (WhatsApp Business / SMS partners), and hosting/analytics providers. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

7. Data security & retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption of passwords, prepared database queries, access controls) to protect your data. We keep data only as long as needed for the service or as required by law.

8. Your rights

• Access, correct or update your information from your dashboard.
• Request deletion of your account and data by emailing us.
• Withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time.

9. Grievance Officer

In line with Indian law, you may raise privacy concerns with our Grievance Officer at grievance@yellowsheet.in or call 87109-10987. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within the timelines required by law.
